Aston Villa Academy graduate Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has had a mixed time of it in the last few years. Lauded by former manager Tim Sherwood, as if he was a positive distraction for our on pitch failings, the now 21-year-old seemed to lose his youthful promise with a string of poor performances in our shirt.
🤩 @Rushcmpt was delighted to get his first professional hat-trick this afternoon!
Here's what he had to say…#TRFC #SWA

Last season we sent him out in January and he had a mixed spell at Cambridge United, although he did return two goals in 16 matches and this season he was given a League One experience with Tranmere Rovers.
It didn’t start well as he earned a straight red card on his debut, and most of his action has come from the substitutes bench (only two starts to date) but more starting appearances could well follow after his exploits at the weekend in their game with MK Dons as he helped himself to his first career hattrick and he took his chances well from what I’ve seen.
We can only hope this is the start of him really kicking on again now, as that should do his confidence the world of good.
Quality today Rushian ????⚪️
